  • Our supervisor is a member of the Records Management Association of Australia and has a wide range of experience in records management, for both the public and private sectors.

  • Formerly of the National Archives from 1982 to the mid nineties, she has been involved in the sentencing and disposal of in-house records series, reviews of records in custody, supervising in house sentencing projects and providing advice for personnel in various State and Commonwealth Agencies as well as reviewing new sentencing schedules.

  • The team at NSS Group has undertaken sentencing projects for organizations such as the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC), Department Of Health, Worksafe, Defence Centre, Housing Loans Insurance Corporation, Australian National Audit Office and the Department of Ageing, Disability & Home Care, Wollondilly Council and many more.

The team possess:

  • A sound knowledge and understanding of the Archives Act and related legislation;

  • Skills in selecting the appropriate disposal schedule for the project given the nature of the records under review;

  • Techniques in records conservation procedures for implementation, where required;

  • High speed data entry skills to facilitate the reporting of statistical data, sentencing checklists and other reports required by clients; and

  • An ability to deliver a project in accordance with the clients laid down records management procedures.

Additionally the team maintains close liaison with the National Archives to ensure the use of the most current disposal schedules and any amendments to governing legislation.
